This week, The Weekly Beet travels back in time. Mary Kent flashes back to explore the benefits of one of the hottest therapies of the moment: Past Life Regression.

As humans, we are continually faced with the inability to explain the very essence of our being. We all have wondered who we are, what our purpose is, and whether we have possibly reincarnated from a previous life? Yes, this week's Beet gets deep! Although these questions remain unanswerable, progression into a new millennium has lead to more and more research investigating the unknown. It's impossible for science to explain why familiar feelings are present when meeting a stranger for the first time or why intense connections are felt towards places that have never been physically visited. And, what about the learning of a certain skill set or a foreign language that takes no time to develop? Although science remains speechless when faced with such mystery, alternative therapies are courageously coming forth with some interesting answers. Could it be, for instance, that these feelings stem from unconscious memories from past life experiences? One therapeutic tool says YES.

Past Life Regression, also known as PLR, is a therapy being used today to eliminate negative emotions and trauma created from previous life times, yet carried out through the present. Based on the belief that the soul reincarnates when we die, Past Life Regression takes the patient back in time through hypnosis. By grasping the belief that negative emotions and trauma can stem from previous lives, patients awaken to the realization that feelings of fear, anxiety, phobia, and intense connections to others are triggered by something much greater than meets the eye. Thanks to pioneers like Dr. Brian L. Weiss, MD, a medically trained psychotherapist at Yale, Past Life Regression has recently been removed from the taboo list of new age practices and placed in the category of highly beneficial therapies. Now, that’s what we call unBEETable! Click here if you have more questions.

Luckily, we're not alone in confirming the effectiveness of Past Life Regression. Thousands of people have traveled "back in time", leaving with a much greater understanding of who they are. We flashed back and uncovered a link between emotionally influential people in the present and lingering bonds in the past. PLR allowed us to heal negative attachments carried over from many previous lives, therefore, clearing what is known in the Eastern world as karma. It is when such cleansing occurs that unhealthy, emotional attachments to people in our present will be eliminated. Click here to read more about Past Life Regression.

Go back and heal the now! Don't miss a Beet. Stay tuned for next week.

Love,

Mary Kent
